The Southern Tip of Baja

Fishing the cabo region is truly a sportsman's paradise with multiple species year round to keep the rod bent. During the summer months you will find Blue and Black marlin, Tuna , Dorado, Wahoo and many other species. As the fall settles in, the fishing heats up off the Baja pacific coast especially the area of Mag Bay. Mag bay is approximately 200 miles up the pacific and has very little pressure from the popular cabo fleet. With two beautiful bays to anchor up every night after a long day of fishing this makes Mag bay a special spot to visit.

ADVENTURES THAT CHANGES LIFES

Baja's famous East Cape. There are very few areas in the world where you can catch record breaking fish less than a mile from shore and that is what the east cape offers just that. This is also where the pacific meets the Sea of Cortez and starts a magical chain of islands to explore and discover, there is no place on earth like it. Truly a mystical part of the cortez.

After you land the big catch we bleed every fish and immediately it goes into our fish hold that has 27deg salt water,  which brings the fish core temperature down at the fastest rate possible. Then we will cut and label and put into 3mm commercial vacuum sealer for the trip home.

History

A luxury family yacht, has an intriguing history. It all started in the early 1990s when O. Jay Call would buy and sell his first yacht named Mardiosa. Soon after selling Mardiosa, Mr. Call realized just how much he missed being on the ocean fishing and relaxing with his family. It wasn’t long before Mr. Call commissioned Barattucci Yachts to custom build a new yacht. And thus, plans were made, and construction started, the new yacht would be christened, Fun Runner. Unfortunately, Mr. Call would never see Fun Runner cruising the oceans, his children picked up where he left off, and soon Fun Runner was cruising oceans from Panama to Alaska entertaining family and friends all along the way. In 2014, after many good years, and countless hours of entertaining, it was time to take Fun Runner into dry dock for an overhaul. By this time Fun Runner is owned by Thad and Ronda Call. Thad and Ronda searched endlessly to find the right team to transform Fun Runner into Mardiosa. With the team in place, Fun Runner was stripped down to the skeleton, naval engineers added another 10 feet to the vessel, gyro stabilizer added, state of the art navigation and media system installed, and the interior finished with the finest and most luxurious of materials. No cost was spared in making Mardiosa one of the most comfortable yacht cruising the oceans. After 4 years of dry dock, overhaul and upgrades, in 2018 Fun Runner was christened Mardiosa.
